The first-ever Bruce Battle of the Bands 2024 at Lakeshore Recreation was a roaring success, as Bruce and Grey Counties showed once again why it's the heart of rock!
From Tobermory to Walkerton, local talent brought everyone together for an unforgettable night of music, dancing, community spirit and fundraising.
Families, friends, and music lovers of all ages filled the venue, cheering on their favorite bands as kids danced with their dads, and beach balls bounced through the air.
The energy was palpable, and the excitement grew with each performance as the four finalist bands—Grey Road 1, Nuclear Vibes, Jonas Brown, and Boiler Beach—went head-to-head, competing to be crowned the Ultimate Bruce County Rock Star at the Bruce Battle of the Bands 2024.

Grey Road 1
Grey Road 1 embodies the heart of Bruce County, bringing raw energy and classic rock vibes to the stage. Named after the childhood home of front man Fred Dawson, Grey Road 1 has been bringing their brand of Classic Rock, Funk and Blues to Concert Halls, Pubs and Theatres for nearly a decade.
