The festival, which has been a tradition for over 30 years, includes locally made displays and attractions along the river and at Harrison Park, creating a winter wonderland experience for visitors. |
Nov 16 | Annual Christmas and Vendor Show | Owen Sound | The 8th Annual Christmas Craft and Vendor Show at East Ridge Community School in Owen Sound, Ontario, features free admission and a lineup of 70 vendors. Visitors can enjoy a bake table, games of skill, door prizes, and an extensive assortment of items perfect for Christmas shopping. This event is a fundraiser for the Sydenham Agricultural Society, supporting the 171st Sydenham Fall Fair in September 2024, which is a significant educational and agricultural event for local students. All funds raised will go towards continuing the tradition of the fall fair, which receives no government or school board funding. |

The parade starts at 5pm at Metro on 2nd Ave East, turns left onto 8th Street East, and ends at 3rd Ave East. Canada Post will collect letters for Santa along the route, and food donations will be collected for The Salvation Army and City of Owen Sound Fire Department. For those unable to attend, the event will be broadcast live on Rogers TV and throughout the holiday season |
