Welcome to my top three tweets for the week of June 8, 2015. Each week I pick my top 3 tweets and package them into a blog post. Those that know me would agree that I love to try stuff out and experiment. This is an experiment that I’m doing to generate more content for my blog and more engagement on Twitter. I’ll have a brief blurb about the tweet and encourage you to contribute to the Twitter conversation. Let’s learn together and please borrow this idea for your blogs and businesses. All I ask is you consider hiring my agency one day! – Chris.

No 1: New Fund Announcement from August

Why top 3?: I’m a huge user and fan of Buffer. In this tweet I used their “Pablo by Buffer” image creator. Using it makes it possible for me to “cheat” the 140 character limit. Here’s an example of it in use. Also, I wanted to share David Hornik’s news about his VII fund.

No 2: Infographic on Digital Marketers

Why top 3?: Visual content almost always generates more engagement on Twitter. They generate more favorites, retweets, mentions, link clicks and potential reach. This was tweeted on Saturday and became the number two “Top Tweet” of the week within 24 hours.

No 3: Top Brand CMOs on Twitter (or not)

Why top 3?: This was a conversational tweet on whether number of followers mattered and if top brand CMOs should be on twitter or not. The debate requires more than 140 characters though! This was a top tweet in terms of engagement also.
